EvoEnergy are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to provide maternity cover for a period of one year to support the Finance team, ensuring all ledgers operate efficiently and assisting with month end processes. The ability to multi-task is essential and the ideal candidate is resourceful, organised and able to use their own initiative to problem solve.
Main Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger processing and management
- Sales Ledger processing and management
- Assist with credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Employee expenses
- Employee credit card processing and reconciliation
- Assist with production of monthly management accounts
- Support with year end accounting processes
- Production of monthly overhead analysis
- Performance analysis for recently completed installations
What we’re looking for:
- Previous relevant experience is essential (2 years +)
- AAT qualified / ACCA/CIMA part qualified (preferred, not essential)
- Experience of using Sage 200 in a work environment preferred
- Good communication skills; written and verbal
- High standard of proven Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Ability to plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible & approachable
- Comfortable working within a small team
