Earlier this month, EvoEnergy commissioned a 404 kWp solar PV array for Games Workshop at their UK manufacturing facility in Nottingham, East Midlands; just 5 miles from EvoEnergy’s office.
The array was installed over 6 weeks during October and November using 1,493 solar panels and 13 ABB inverters.
Now fully operational, the gaming industry giant are able to self-generate around 8% of their electricity demand onsite, with the green energy also saving them thousands of pounds on their bills every year. Over 121 tonnes of carbon emissions are being offset every year by the array, equivalent to that produced by 13 average homes or 26 petrol cars.
