On Friday night (September 29th) EvoEnergy were awarded third place for National Solar PV Installer of the Year at the 2017 National Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards, in addition to collecting a ‘special commendation’ award in the Small Project of the Year (under £250k) category.
Earlier in the year, EvoEnergy entered the regional Energy Efficiency awards picking up 1st place for both the Solar PV Installer of the year and Small Project of the year categories for the East Midlands. The National awards allow all companies across the UK (including regional winners) to go head to head and was this year held at the Hilton Metropole at the NEC Birmingham with entertainment from Sir Lenny Henry.
Over 100 energy efficiency companies entered a total of 20 categories to celebrate their success over the last 12 months, with many categories attracting entries from more than 20 different companies.
The Ken Martin solar carport project won EvoEnergy the ‘small project’ award in the regional finals back in May and has now picked up a special commendation accolade at the National ceremony. The recognition in the ‘solar PV installer’ category also pays tribute to EvoEnergy’s portfolio of challenging and iconic projects this year and is the only company in the top 3 to operate solely in the commercial rooftop sector.
EvoEnergy have the opportunity for further awards success on Wednesday evening (4th October) with the company a finalist in two categories at the 2017 Solar Power Portal awards.
