EvoEnergy have been awarded ‘East Midlands Solar PV Installer of the Year’ at the regional Energy Efficiency Awards in addition to a second award for ‘East Midlands Small Scale Project of the Year’, for the solar carport installed at Ken Martin with partners Nottingham City Council.
On the night, Nottingham City Council also picked up ‘Local Authority / Council of the Year’ thanks to their ongoing investment and achievements in energy efficiency that have contributed to reducing the City’s carbon reduction targets four years early.
The two awards are the latest accolades for EvoEnergy that pay tribute to their achievements in 2016, installing commercial rooftop solar in a challenging year. The award submission was supported by many iconic projects including those installed for Nottingham City Council, Lyreco and DPD.
The Energy Efficiency awards, previously known as the Green Deal & ECO awards, celebrate the successes of solutions and installers across all of the energy efficiency sectors including solar, heating, insulation and consultancy.
The awards were collected by EvoEnergy and Nottingham City Council at the annual regional event on Thursday evening (16th March) this year held at the Hilton Gateway hotel in Nottingham.
This week, EvoEnergy have also learned that they are finalists for ‘Innovation of the Year’ at two regional finals (West Midlands and East Midlands) at the Celebrating Construction awards. Further details of the outcome will be announced in May.
