EvoEnergy Achieve Investors in the Environment AccreditationAugust 3, 2016
EvoEnergy have achieved ‘Green’ level accreditation following their recent Investors in the Environment (IIE) audit. The award certifies that EvoEnergy have reduced their overall carbon footprint by a minimum of 2% through the implementation and adherence to the highest IIE environmental management standards.
Externally audited by the IIE, EvoEnergy – an accredited member of the IIE – completed a rigorous assessment of their activities and processes that reduce the impact of the company on the environment including recycling, vehicle tracking, and the installation of solar PV and LED lighting at their office. Furthermore, EvoEnergy’s ISO:14001 accreditation positively contributed to the audit, in addition to the company’s ‘Green Mile’ CSR campaign.
Jordan Mawbey, Marketing Manager for EvoEnergy, commented;
“Although our day-to-day business is targeted towards helping companies all over the UK reduce their own impact on the environment, it’s important that we aren’t complacent about how our own business can impact. This accreditation is therefore a great achievement and recognition that we have the necessary processes in place to be as ‘green’ as possible and that all of our team are contributors to making this happen.”
As pictured above, Jon Roper of EvoEnergy collected the award in July at a regional venue in Nottingham, where a number of other businesses were also present to collect their own accreditations.
Investors in the Environment is a not for profit environmental accreditation scheme open to any business of any size that would like dedicated help and support for becoming a greener business and gain a recognised environmental accreditation.
