Last of the big six reduces energy prices

Scottish Power yesterday announced it was reducing prices by an average 5%, making it the last of the big six suppliers to announce a fall in tariffs. The 5% cut will be effective from 27 February and is said to be equal to an annual reduction of £36 for gas and electricity dual-fuel customers paying by monthly direct debit. Bilborough College sets a shining example

EvoEnergy’s latest commercial project saw us install 400 panels on the roof of the sports hall at Bilborough College, Nottingham. And the installation caused such a stir the local BBC news team came along too. Government support for solar thermal

Homes installing solar thermal systems could get £300 towards the cost with the government’s latest incentive. Solar thermal – using the sun’s warmth to produce hot water – is a very different technology to solar photovoltaics, and in recent years it’s been the less financially viable of the two.
