Our process

Here at EvoEnergy we work hard to help you find the right options, for improving your homes energy efficiency, and to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about the right choice for you.

These are the five steps to improve your home’s energy efficiency rating:

Step 1: Making contact

The first step is to get in touch with us, either through our enquiry form or our telephone number – 08448 150 200. Once you have done this, one of our consultants will give you a call – or an email if you prefer – to take you through the initial steps.

We need to work out with you what measures you already have in place and what measures your home is suitable for. Identifying the property on Google Earth also helps us here to evaluate the size of the property. Once we have assessed your homes suitability, we will then take time to talk through the different options and requirements with you including the estimated savings.

Step 2: Receiving the initial proposals

After your discussion with our consultant, and we have an idea of what you are looking for, we will send out an initial proposal based on your requirements measurements we take from Google Earth of your property.

The documentation will also provide you with a wealth of information, such as bill and carbon savings, to help you make your decisions and compare the range of options you will receive.

Step 3: Site Survey

Once you have looked through the initial proposal, we will arrange a free site survey with one of our trained surveyors. The survey takes around one hour to complete, during which we will gather all the information we need to provide you with your final proposals.

A site survey will typically consist of measuring the floor area of your home, the wall height and thickness. The surveyor will go inside the loft to take measurements of the loft area and to check the depth of existing insulation. We will also check the electrics and energy efficiency measures in place so that we know your home is suitable.

Finally our surveyor will be happy to answer any remaining questions you may have and to make sure that the revised options we send are the right ones for you.

Step 4: Final proposals

Following the site survey, the information we have collected will be used to estimate your homes current energy performance and we can then compile your final proposals with the predicted energy performance. Often this is confirming the options you are most interested in, or adapting any of the options to meet your needs.

Step 5: The installation

Once you are happy with a proposed system, your consultant will pass all the details across to our operations team. You will have a dedicated project coordinator who will arrange all the details for you installation and agree dates with you for one of our teams to carry out the installation.

The job itself will take 1-2 days for most domestic properties and our onsite project manager will help you fill out any paperwork needed. Once your install is complete, your project coordinator will send out any certificates you need and you will be safe in the knowledge your bills are coming down.
