On Tuesday 27th September, EvoEnergy will be exhibiting at The Midlands Construction Expo held this year at the Ricoh arena in Coventry. It is the first time that EvoEnergy have exhibited at the event, although their parent company (Stepnell) have been involved for a number of years with the Managing Director of both companies – Mark Wakeford – also chairing and speaking at the Midlands Construction Summit that runs parallel to the expo.
EvoEnergy have extensive experience in the construction sector, working regularly with a number of small and large contractors all over the UK to deliver solar installations ranging from a small commercial 4 kWp system to a large multi-megawatt array on new developments. Often, these projects require a high level of technical and engineering expertise to provide bespoke solutions back to the contractors, which is completed by EvoEnergy’s in-house technical and design team.
The expo will give construction companies a chance to meet EvoEnergy in person to discuss solar PV solutions, technologies and upcoming projects. If you are attending the event this year, visit EvoEnergy at stand 28.
EvoEnergy’s involvement in the construction sector has seen them work with Contractors to install solar PV on some of the UK’s most iconic buildings including the infamous ‘Walkie Talkie‘ (Land Securities), 5 Broadgate (Mace), and most recently, South Bank Tower (Mace); all in Central London.
Working with DSP Construction over the last 12 months has also seen EvoEnergy install 2.1 MWp and 1.5 MWp of solar PV on two new Aldi Distribution Centres in Bolton and Cardiff respectively, whilst still under construction.
