Awards aren’t the be-all and end-all, but it is nice to get industry-wide recognition for a job well done. It’s also a quick way for customers to measure us against other companies in the industry. Installer of the Year 2011
The REA is a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK. Its annual event, the British Renewable Energy Awards, celebrates outstanding achievements in this thriving sector.
In a year that saw a record number of over two hundred nominations, EvoEnergy emerged with the coveted award for Solar Installer of the Year.

EvoEnergy, despite tough competition from around the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regions, was awards this award in recognition of our outstanding customer service.

For the second year running EvoEnergy have been announced as Solar Installer of the Year at the annual Renewables Awards. It was another year of tough competition, so winning this accolade really helps us show the quality of our work.

The Renewables Awards recognises outstanding industry contributions across a wide range of categories, from training initiatives to specialist installers. EvoEnergy triumphed as Solar Installer of the Year, from a shortlist of: EOS Energy; New World Solar Installations; Ploughcroft; and SunGift Solar.

Solar Energy Provider of the Year 2011
These awards aim to give national recognition to businesses demonstrating they’re leading the way in the renewables industry. EvoEnergy was named Solar Energy Provider of the Year, beating a shortlist of: Alumet Renewable Technologies, EOS Energy; Ploughcroft (highly commended); Solar Green Energy SPA; Solar South West; SolarTech; and SunGift Solar.
Solar Industry UK Awards
Building-Integrated PV Installer of the Year 2012
The Solar UK Awards recognise success in every area of the solar industry, from research and development in the laboratory to those installing systems for the end user. We won the award for Building-Integrated PV Installer of the Year after demonstrating our ability to handle technically complex projects – a prime example being our installation on Skanska’s UK headquarters in Woking.

This prestigious award, presented to our CEO Kevin Hard, recognises EvoEnergy’s success in what had proved a challenging year for the renewables industry. Judging criteria included strategies for competitiveness and growth, employee engagement, professional development and long-term business goals.

These awards recognise inspirational leaders who’ve made incredible achievements in their business sector. Our CEO Kevin Hard was the thoroughly deserving winner, impressing the panel with his passion for renewable energy and the speed at which he’s built up the company.

Kevin went on to receive further recognition when he was named the overall UK winner. Judges commended the way he broke into the business world with no previous experience, and were impressed with his hands-on approach to building the company.
