The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business. REAL membership is a sign that the supplier has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in their consumer code. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence.There is a Supervisory Panel whose role is to oversee the Scheme. It is chaired by an independent consumer representative, Dr. Gill Owen. A majority of the panel members are independent of the industry. Microgeneration Certification Scheme |

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent certification scheme designed to certify microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The scheme was launched by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.The primary aim of the MCS is to provide consumers with confidence and protection in this energy supply option by guaranteeing that microgeneration products and installers who carry the mark meet, and will continue to meet, robust quality standards.The MCS mark guarantees that EvoEnergy follow a code of practice that meets the guidelines set by the Office of Fair Trading Consumer Code Approval Scheme.
Building Research EstablishmentEvoEnergy is a fully accredited installer with the Building Research Establishment (BRE), a world leading research, consultancy, training, testing and accreditation organisation. BRE provides the buildings expertise to the Energy Saving Trust and to the various Carbon Trust customer support programmes, providing unbiased advice and guidance to improve energy efficiency and make greater use of energy-efficient techniques. |

The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) is an independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. We are a Fully Approved contractor and are subject to annual inspections to ensure that our standards of quality and safety are maintained.Registered contractors work to the UK national standard, BS 7671, issuing a safety certificate for their electrical work to confirm that the installation has been designed, constructed, inspected and tested in accordance with the standard.The NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to EN 45011 – General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems. Accreditation ensures that the scheme is operated with independence and integrity and that it focuses on the quality and safety of the final installation.

CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.CSCS exists to meet industry needs and is managed by CSCS Limited whose Directors all come from the Construction Industry. It is a Company Limited by Guarantee and therefore has no shareholders.The members of the board are from the Construction
Confederation, Federation of Master Builders, GMB Union, National Specialist Contractors Council, T&G Section of UNITE (Building Crafts Section), Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians. The Construction Industry Council and the Construction Clients Group are also represented on the Board. The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) through its document Common Minimum Standards for the Procurement of Built Environments in the Public Sector, states that governmental clients “are to include a contract clause requiring that all members of the supply teams who are workers or a regular visitor to a construction site are registered on the CSCS scheme”. |

Established in 1985 with over 750 carefully selected quality companies nationwide, the Independent Warranty Association (IWA) is a market leader for Deposit and Guarantee Insurance within the Home Improvement Industry.EvoEnergy have undergone a basic audit prior to the IWA agreeing to work with them. This involved supplying references from suppliers etc. to ensure that all current obligations are being fulfilled.The IWA will back EvoEnergy’s warranty for its lifetime (5 years); this means that in the unlikely event that EvoEnergy should cease trading the IWA will fulfil the guarantee in their place. IWA also provide full deposit protection. If for any reason EvoEnergy are unable to fulfil their obligations then our customers will be fully reimbursed by the IWA.
