We deliver a fully integrated consultancy based service for energy technology and this approach has helped us become one of the largest independent solar PV installers in the UK, specialising in roof-mounted systems.
Since 2007, our regional teams have delivered a multi-award winning service to over 6,000 households and hundreds of commercial clients; helping them turn their otherwise unused roof space into a second income in addition to reducing their carbon footprint. From a 4 kWp (and smaller) residential system up to a multi-megawatt commercial rooftop array, we have installed solutions for clients of all sizes.
Our experience and knowledge of each sector is what really helps us stand out from the competition, particularly as each sector – and client – presents different opportunities and challenges. In addition to demonstrating market leading design and innovation to our clients, we also have a reputation for offering a level of advice and technical knowledge that is unparalleled in the market place; nobody knows solar like we do.
We treat each project as an opportunity to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction and recommendation. Households may also be interested to know that we’ve been independently recommended by the Which? consumer magazine and moneysavingexpert.com.
Our commitment and value to our clients is to help you save money by investing in energy technology; save the environment by reducing your energy demand from the grid; and give you peace of mind that you have chosen a company that has the experience to implement the right solution, first time, in a safe working environment.
In addition to the thousands of households all over the UK, we have an impressive customer base that yields popular brand names including BMW Mini, BUPA, Center Parcs, and various local authorities and contractors.
One of our most prestigious and unique installs to date is the 50 kWp array on top of one of London’s most tallest and famous landmarks – the Walkie Talkie building, developed by our clients, Land Securities and The Canary Wharf Group.
Our reputation for quality and customer service has made word-of-mouth our best form of marketing where one-third of our business is generated through customer referrals. View our case studies and testimonials page to learn more about how we have worked with some of our clients.
We have a long standing relationship with Npower, working as their preferred partner to provide a solar PV solution for their customers interested in solar technology.
Most recently, we have been chosen as an approved partner by Siemens to deliver an exclusive Energy Efficiency Financing package to the education sector through a scheme developed by the Carbon Trust.
After completing his PhD in renewable technology, Dr Kevin Hard founded the company back in 2007 which has since grown to over 100 highly skilled employees, combining years’ of industry experience together for a highly performing team.
Our head office is located in Attenborough (Nottingham) where you will find our support teams including design, technical, finance and customer service in addition to our senior management personnel.
With extended UK coverage, our business is successfully run through regional teams to deliver a local service for the benefit of both the client and our operations
We hold all the relevant industry accreditations and all of our installers are trained and qualified to the highest standards. In fact, due to our reputation we continue to attract the brightest talent in the industry which is why we are able to deliver the complete service in-house.
Services & products
Our fully integrated consultancy based service for energy technology includes design & engineering; finance; products; project management; and installation. Visit our services page to learn more about each of these specialist areas.
Our reputation has been built around our flagship service, solar panel installations, complemented by a comprehensive operation and monitoring service to ensure your solar PV system continues to deliver the best returns and energy savings.
Over the last few years, LED lighting has also been an important element within our services portfolio, particularly with investment in LED generally paying for itself in as little as 2.5 years.
We have developed and nurtured long term relationships with key suppliers allowing us to streamline our supplychain for products and service delivery. Due to our status and reputation in the industry, we are also one of the first to see new technology before it becomes widely available; quite often we are also selected to become an exclusive installer of certain products such as the high efficiency SunPower solar PV module.

The Stepnell partnership
Our expertise in the industry is also heightened by the backing and experience of the long-standing building and civil engineering company, Stepnell Ltd. Established in the 1870’s, the Stepnell Group has a £66m turnover, undertaking construction projects ranging from £10,000 to £30m in value and operates through a network of regional offices across central and southern England.
Our commitment to the environment
Whilst we’ve helped thousands of clients reduce their carbon footprint through energy technology, at EvoEnergy we still look internally to implement greener ways of working wherever possible.
By building good relationships, we streamline our Supplychain to minimise transportation time whether this be the delivery of products to site or for the travel of our installation teams.
In our offices, we have an effective recycling programme and although we keep printing to a minimum, we always use FSC certified paper.
Our head office in Nottingham also has its own 4 kWp solar PV system allowing us to generate our own free, green electricity. This is also complimented by an efficient LED lighting system.
New for 2015, we have launched our own green mile campaign, with a target of planting the equivalent of one linear mile of trees in UK woodlands and schools this year. This works out at 805 trees and the campaign is directly influenced by the amount of kWp we install at our client sites. Click the link above for more details.
