EvoEnergy has the following nationally recognised solar installation accreditations.
RENEWABLE ENERGY ASSURANCE LISTED
The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business. REAL membership is a sign that the supplier has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in their consumer code. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence.
There is a Supervisory Panel whose role is to oversee the Scheme. It is chaired by an independent consumer representative, Dr. Gill Owen. A majority of the panel members are independent of the industry. All the panel members are dedicated to representing the greater good of the sustainable energy industry rather than any individual sector within it.
MICROGENERATION CERTIFICATION SCHEME
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent certification scheme designed to certify microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The scheme was launched by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
The primary aim of the MCS is to provide consumers with confidence and protection in this energy supply option by guaranteeing that microgeneration products and installers who carry the mark meet, and will continue to meet, robust quality standards.
The MCS mark guarantees that EvoEnergy follow a code of practice that meets the guidelines set by the Office of Fair Trading's Consumer Code Approval Scheme.
CONSTRUCTION SKILLS CERTIFICATION SCHEME
CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.
CSCS exists to meet industry needs and is managed by CSCS Limited whose Directors all come from the Construction Industry. It is a Company Limited by Guarantee and therefore has no shareholders.
The members of the board are from the Construction Confederation, Federation of Master Builders, GMB Union, National Specialist Contractors Council, T&G Section of UNITE (Building Crafts Section), Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians. The Construction Industry Council and the Construction Clients Group are also represented on the Board.
The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) through its document Common Minimum Standards for the Procurement of Built Environments in the Public Sector, states that governmental clients "are to include a contract clause requiring that all members of the supply teams who are workers or a regular visitor to a construction site are registered on the CSCS scheme".
